Mission & Values
The mission of the Bahari School of Ministry is to form servant leaders who embody ancestral memory, navigate digital tools with ethical clarity, and live faithfully within the dynamic realities of coastal African diasporic life. Rooted in the ocean’s legacy as a vessel of passage, memory, and connection, BSOM prepares students to lead with purpose and justice in humanitarian and community contexts. Our values reflect a deep commitment to ancestral wisdom, cultural stewardship, digital justice, applied community practice, care for people and the planet, and equitable access to education.
