About Bahari School of Ministry
Learning Rooted in Heritage
Bahari School of Ministry is an independent, fully online institution dedicated to education grounded in heritage, service, and global responsibility. The School prepares learners for leadership across faith, community, education, culture, and public life through academically rigorous, historically informed, and socially engaged programs.
The word Bahari reflects the School's guiding vision of learning as a living current that carries knowledge, values, and responsibility across communities, generations, and borders. Bahari affirms that education, like the sea, connects rather than divides.
Our Understanding of Ministry
Bahari defines ministry as service. Ministry is not limited to a pulpit or a single profession. It is expressed through teaching, caregiving, leadership, cultural stewardship, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and community development.
Every program is designed to equip students to serve with integrity, wisdom, and practical skill in the contexts where they live and work.
Academic Approach
Bahari School of Ministry integrates the arts, sciences, social sciences, humanities, and faith-centered study within an Afrocentric and global framework. Courses emphasize critical thinking, historical consciousness, ethical leadership, the arts, and applied learning.
Instruction is designed to connect theory with practice and to prepare students for meaningful engagement in real-world settings. Artificial intelligence literacy and digital competency are incorporated across the curriculum to ensure graduates are prepared for contemporary professional environments while remaining grounded in human values and ethical responsibility.
